Since the early 1980s, suppliers who have participated in Nike's biannual trade fair for many years have decided to extend their exhibition time in Portland, Oregon and invite other manufacturers to participate in the materials exhibition held at the same location.
In the 1990s, America Events, Inc. took over the Nike Manufacturers' Fair and the subsequent Materials Fair (NW), and expanded them. America Events, Inc. was born as the official organizer of Nike's bi annual manufacturer trade fair and new shoe and clothing materials exhibition. Later, ACE America Events, Inc. also became the official organizer of Adidas and the New Balance Manufacturers' Fair. This exhibition has developed into an important material and communication resource.
In the autumn of 2005, America Events, Inc. held a materials exhibition (NE) on the east coast of Boston, Massachusetts, to serve local manufacturers. The 2017 exhibition (NE) was expanded and moved to the Aleppo Shrink Hall in Wilmington. The exhibition has attracted exhibitors from 14 countries: the United States, Argentina, Canada, China, Germany, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, the United Kingdom, Spain. The exhibition is held twice a year in Boston/Portland in February and August respectively, attracting many world brand buyers.
