CIBUS TEC, an international food and beverage processing and packaging exhibition in Palma, Italy, was initially established with the theme of fruit and vegetable processing and packaging. In the 1970s, it added a dairy industry technology exhibition and developed into an international exhibition. Subsequently, it rapidly expanded into a processing and packaging exhibition for the entire food and beverage industry and gained global fame. According to the investigation, the Italian Food Industry Supervision Committee was also a co organizer of the 2014 CIBUS TEC exhibition, and their participation enhanced the professionalism and authority of the Parma Packaging Exhibition in Italy. The responsibility of the supervisory committee is to identify the development trends of technological innovation applications in the food industry, in order to provide excellent opportunities for professional and technological advancement in the industry.

The Italian Packaging Exhibition is a popular food technology exhibition platform in Italy, with a history of 80 years since its first held in 1939. The number of exhibitors continued to grow. In 2016, 1030 exhibitors from 108 countries participated in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of 120000 square meters. The Italian Food Packaging Exhibition attracted 35000 professional visitors, including 10000 from Spain, France, Germany, Greece, Switzerland, Türkiye, Russia, the United States, Chile, Iran, Egypt and other countries. This year is open to Chinese enterprises for the first time.
