NEPCON MALAYSIA, an electronic components exhibition in Malaysia, is hosted by the world-renowned exhibition organizer, LEPCON Expo Group. It is held once a year and has been successfully held 19 times so far. Since its debut, the electronic components exhibition has always adhered to the purpose of showcasing advanced technology, promoting industry development, enhancing cooperation and exchange, and promoting trade exchanges. It has continuously innovated in exhibition organization, exhibition category setting, exhibitor and audience services, and has become the only and largest procurement platform for PCB/SMT, electronic components, testing and measurement, semiconductors, automation, and related services in Malaysia.
For over a decade, with the strong support of multiple government agencies such as the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority, the Malaysian Foreign Investment Development Authority, and the Malaysian Industrial Standards and Specifications Authority, and through the joint efforts of exhibition organizers and exhibitors, NEPCONMALAYSIA has become the largest international electronic trade exhibition in Malaysia, serving as a direct communication platform for exhibitors and professional buyers. In 2014, the total exhibition area was 3500 square meters, with 357 exhibitors, an increase of 7% compared to 2013. 76% of them were overseas exhibitors, 23% of exhibitors released new products, 44% of exhibitors booked booths for 2015 on-site after the exhibition, and 86% of exhibitors hoped to recommend the exhibition to their peers. The three-day exhibition attracted 5598 professional visitors from 22 countries, with 98% satisfied and 96% hoping to visit the exhibition again. As the exhibition is held in Penang, Malaysia, which is a key industrial zone in Malaysia and is located near the industrial zone, 80% of local visitors in Malaysia are decision buyers from the industrial zone. It can be said that the visitors to the exhibition are professionals in the industry who have a strong desire to purchase.
